They are so invested in their belief that Trump is the Second Coming, or some such witless idiocy, that they reject irrefutable evidence of his staggering in competence to the point where they are forced to embrace policies that so obviously adversely affect them that they tie themselves in knots trying to rationalize what even their dim brains know to be false. I'd almost feel sorry for them if they weren't just as fundamentally evil as he is. Otherwise they wouldn't BE Republicans in the first place.

As far as I can tell, they painted it with some paint. The surface was probably not completely dry. So now it's peeling. Pouring hydrogen peroxide into the pool didn't help the paint to stay on either.
