It’s 100 degrees with about 50% humidity in Fairfax, VA right now. It’s uncomfortable even with the AC on. I can’t imagine what it must feel like on the Mall. And it’s not going to get any better. Unless Trump comes through with unlimited water bottles and misting stations - which I doubt - they’re going to be dropping like flies.

Just ‘cause we have an effing a$$hole for a president - who has totally ruined our national celebration - doesn’t mean we have to forgo celebrating our country’s 250th birthday.

Not even the potential promise of a certain meltable, overweight elderly person threatening a two hour speech in 107 degree weather and the circus of unfortunate but fortunate events that might bring about is enough to tempt me if I was stuck in the DC area.

Even if they offer free locally made Mexican Ice Cream.
