Here's the NY TImes exactly two years ago, when Joe Biden was president (and in the middle of a hard-fought campaign.)
Compare the numbers in those two headlines.
I don't think you need a better example of the difference in treatment between the two presidents. Trump indeed gets some very aggressive and hostile coverage. But the disparity in the economic coverage between Biden and Trump is stark. And it had very serious consequences.
