I remember when we thought Nixon was bad

I was in college at the time and drove around with a bumper sticker that said, "Impeach the Expletive Deleted". That of course was in reference to the eighteen minutes of deleted tape which contained numerous profanities.

We were a somewhat united nation at that point in our history. Many Republicans stood up and demanded Nixon leave office or be impeached. My God, how this country has fallen.

FYI - Yes, Nixon was bad, but he was a choir boy compared to the felon we have today.

and his moral lines were blurred, but I do believe he fought for the country and loved it, in his own sick twisted way. Trump? He's never lifted a finger for anyone but himself.

my old age without worrying everyday that the world may blow up. I wish I could just ignore him, but I can’t. My birthday is this month and my wish is we never hear from or see him again.

Good times.

(Then Ford pardoned him and we found out it didn't work.)
