Minnesota now has some of the worst air pollution in the world according to real-time air quality readings by AQI, surpa

I am about 2hours east of Mpls and the air is smelly--putrid smelling. low spots of the river look like the picture.
The air is just 'hanging'.

they have an expiration date. I don't think the exact date means much, but this means they will degrade over time.
Covid is not over and there are other uses.
They are pretty cheap.

If this was a permanent thing, Mn, Wi, and Mi would be in a very bad way

But in a couple of weeks this is going to be ancient history as we turn to more devastation by Trump and Co...

But it's not like pollution from Los Angeles or New York, which will be with us for as long as those cities exist.

It's bad air now, and it will be until mid-late Nov, no doubt but there will be ana end to it.

as it has been for the past several years. And if it's not wildfires, it will be 100-year rains every 5-10 years, and if it's not rains, it will be another climate crisis. It's all connected.

You are correct, it's not like pollution from Los Angeles or New York. It is worse.

"It's bad air now, and it will be until mid-late Nov, no doubt but there will be ana end to it." Huh?

City pollution has improved. Fires will get worse. They're now a regular event, where they used to be rare.

I remember the first time forest fire smoke took over my sky, every one was amazed by it. Now it's normal.

I don't understand what you are doing. People are in a very bad way now. Not a permanent thing? What are you talking about? The effects can be permanent damage to people's health.

It's supposed to make for an amazing sunset, the weather lady said. Local news often doesn't see the big picture, though. If the Ross ice shelf split in half they'd tell us how great the surfing will be in New Zealand.
