in part because they didn';t wanna vote for a woman--any woman--after they'd defeated him in 2020 for massive corruption and incompetence. He then goes on to appoin the most incompetent cabinet in history (rubber stamped by his party) and enact an unprecedented attack on this country through DOGE and the weaponization of the DOJ plus wrecking the country's domestic economy and foreign poilicy partially through EO fiat and partially by the Bloated Billionaire Bill.

Offhand, I'd say my worst fear has been realized, that his fixation on being deprived of a second consecutive term in office outraged and unhinged him to the point that the destruction of this country to punish it for doing so is the whole reason behind most of what he's doing.

Whatever happens post 2029 constitutional amendments limiting the power of the next authoritarian crime boss wannabe who sleazes his way into office has got to be paramount.

That is if we survive this one.
