Mayor Frank Goodman announces re-election bid

Frank Goodman isn’t ready to give up his role as mayor just yet. Goodman has announced his run for the Aug. 26 municipal election when he will run for mayor of the City of Dadeville once again.

Looking to the future, Goodman’s plans include continuing the progress Dadeville has made, including bringing multiple new businesses to town.

“We managed to get a few more businesses started,” Goodman said. “The Miller Hotel is up and running, the Camellia Cafe, the Funky Goat — (we’ve brought) more life around the city; more people have come here and enjoyed our small city.”

Goodman said each day, Dadeville is improving and he wants to continue to see growth and development throughout the city.
