Recount scheduled in one Gulf Shores election contest
Notice is hereby given that the City of Gulf Shores has received a petition from Lucas Burger, a candidate for City Council Place No. 1, for a recount of the 2025 general municipal election results pursuant to Sections 11-46-55.1 and 11-46-69 of the Code of Alabama.
The recount is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10, at 10:00 a.m. at the Activity Center located at 260 Clubhouse Drive. The recount proceedings will be open to the public to observe, subject to reasonable limitations necessary to protect recount integrity.
