Experience disobeying direct order during Vietnam War

Army Veteran Dennis Avery recounts his experience of disobeying a direct order during the Vietnam War when he was ordered to open fire on a group of people during takeoff, but radioed back that there were only women and children in the group.

Made of it by covering it up and delays while only a couple of soldiers came out with their accounts and photos. Watching it after all these years later enraged me. We are capable of being monsters and I didn’t want to believe that but I do, unfortunately.
