A large crowd of demonstrators gathered near the intersection of 33rd and L Streets to protest Tuesday's raid of an Omaha meatpacking plant.
Agents of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement targeted Glenn Valley Foods and executed a search warrant at 9 a.m. A busload of workers from the plant were transported from the plant to an unknown destination.
At the protest Tuesday evening, Jose Flores Jr., a community activist and one of the organizers, said he was proud to see the younger generation come together. Flores, along with a few other community activists, allows the youth to lead the event while providing guidance on how to peacefully protest.
"We basically came into an agreement that we would come and support, that they would bring the people, and we would come in and be supportive," he said.
Protesters gather at the intersection of 33rd and L Street to demonstrate against an immigration raid earlier in the day conducted by federal officials at an Omaha meatpacking plant on June 10, 2025.

If the owner loses his crop, he should also be fined and jailed for hiring the only help willing to work, right.
Prices spike and crops get plowed under, not given to the food banks. See Florida tomatoes.
