ENCINO, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A longtime "American Idol" music supervisor and her husband have been identified as the two victims who were found shot to death inside a multi-million-dollar home in Encino.

In a statement provided to ABC7 on Tuesday afternoon, a spokesperson for the singing competition TV series confirmed the deaths of Robin Kaye and her husband Thomas Deluca.

"We are devastated to hear of Robin and her dear husband, Tom's, passing," the statement said. "Robin has been a cornerstone of the 'Idol' family since 2009 and was truly loved and respected by all who came in contact with her. Robin will remain in our hearts forever and we share our deepest sympathy with her family and friends during this difficult time."

Officers responded to a request for a welfare check at the home on White Oak Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. That's when they found the two victims with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the head. .. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

22 year old man that was thought to be burglarizing the home when they arrived and found him. Raymond Boodarian, weird last name, doesn’t even come up when Google search except in relation to this story.

Watching the videos in the report - tall exterior walls with razor spikes and video cameras everywhere along with other obstacles.

That someone was able to get in and was able to enter an open door and was in their home as they came home and shot them violently- how effective was all that security?

My Ring system sends video alerts when the slightest movement triggers a camera. And yet they came home to this person in their home.

A horrible violent death too.

The slayings of “American Idol” music supervisor Robin Kaye and her rock musician husband, Tom DeLuca, in their Encino home may have happened days before their bodies were discovered Monday afternoon, Los Angeles police say.

The couple are believed to have been killed after walking in on a burglary suspect inside their $4.5-million Encino home on Thursday, according to the L.A. Police Department. … “It was discovered that a prior radio call had been generated for a possible burglary suspect at the residence on July 10, 2025, around 4:00 p.m.,” the LAPD said in a statement.

The suspect is believed to have entered the home — which is heavily secured, with a large wall and security cameras — through an unlocked door, police said. After the couple returned home, “a confrontation ensued, which resulted in the suspect taking their lives,” police said.

The couple, whose bodies were found in separate rooms, according to sources, were shot multiple times. Police said the suspect then fled on foot. … Homicide investigators identified the suspect as Raymond Boodarian, 22, who resided in Encino.
