(8,397 posts)What was the general makeup of the crowd that was assaulted? Why were they at that location at that particular time?
The more you know....

(156,785 posts)I actually went to KTLA's website before posting this and they had ZERO about this at all.
https://ktla.com/news/
KNBC is still headlining the sheriff deputies who were killed - https://www.nbclosangeles.com/ as is KABC - https://abc7.com/
It's like a "local" news blackout.

(8,397 posts)I went to three different sites that had this mentioned and they were all just reposts of the same story.
They know what the venue is and they can easily find out who, if anyone, was there. They can easily see what the makeup of the crowd was.
It just almost seems like they want to hide something about this. Not the whole story, but a part of it.
We will see, I guess.

(156,785 posts)and at least they attempted to zero in (using a generic satellite map) of where this happened -
I hate to say but it almost "feels like" a fake AI-generated thing or something.

(104,128 posts)Local TV stations rarely run 24 hour news operations anywhere in the world. It's rare for something to happen at 2am, so having reporters and other workers hanging around in case something does would be unusual.

So he's unconscious now, even if he wasn't when the crash happened.

The LAPD is investigating the crash as an intentional act because the driver made a U-turn before ramming through the crowd, according to the BBC's US partner CBS News.
Police said that when officers arrived, bystanders had dragged the driver out of the Nissan Versa and were attacking him.
One assailant shot the driver, who was taken to hospital for surgery, the LAPD added. His condition is unknown.
