"He's a madman": Trump's team frets about Netanyahu after Syria strikes

Source: Axios

What they're saying: "Bibi acted like a madman. He bombs everything all the time," one White House official told Axios, referring to Netanyahu by his nickname. "This could undermine what Trump is trying to do."

A second senior U.S. official also pointed to the shelling of a church in Gaza this week, which led President Trump to call Netanyahu and demand an explanation. "The feeling is that every day there is something new. What the f***?"
A third U.S. official said there's growing skepticism inside the Trump administration about Netanyahu — a sense that his trigger finger is too itchy and he's too disruptive. "Netanyahu is sometimes like a child who just won't behave." Netanyahu's spokesperson Ziv Agmon did not respond to a request for comment.

Why it matters: Six U.S. officials tell Axios that despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire that halted this week's escalation in Syria on Friday, this week ended with the White House significantly more alarmed about Netanyahu and his regional policies. However, Trump has so far refrained from public criticism and it's unclear if he shares his advisers' frustrations. It is not totally clear whether he shares his advisers' recent concerns about Israel's actions in Syria.

How many hundreds of thousands are we up to by now? How many children? Oh, yes, "no children are innocent in Gaza--isn't that what some constantly tell us? To suggest otherwise is not to call out Netanyahu- the corrupt Mad Man, but is synonymous with 'aligning with terrorist Hamas,' or "hating all in Israel," or "hating all Jewish people..." How many times are we told this and how many wield these lies like a cudgel?

I AM DONE WITH THIS! It is not any of the former. It is a cry for humanity and sanity-FOR ALL. Period. Both innocent Israelis and Palestinian civilians alike. I know my comments go into a near-meaningless, soon-to-be-forgotten void, but...

It is a nation bent on destroying a people to steal their land. Trump thinks Netanyahu is a madman, but neither he not any other Western leader does one thing to stop him, like imposing heavy economics sanctions and stopping all military and economic aid to Israel. Netanyahu obviously sees himself as fulfilling Ben Gurion’s goal of taking all the land from Palestinians and eliminating them. The world stands by and watches while doing absolutely nothing. .

Nuttyyahoo has his own religious goobers to placate. You know, those guys who want the IDF to bomb everything in sight, yet riot when they're called upon to actually fucking SERVE in the IDF.

The problem is that he makes horror plausible. And necessary.

That's a good description for trump. He's mostly pissed because he won't get to build a big beautiful resort on Gaza's beaches.

This, "war," has gone way beyond sanity. Its been used as an excuse for genocide, and clearing the land. If there's one thing I fault Pres. Biden on it was giving them the means to do it in the first place. The response to bombing the hospital was out of control soon after.

I certainly don't hate the Jewish people. I do hate Bibi.
