'South Park' Stuns DHS Into Silence With Shocking ICE Barbie Portrayal

Source: daily beast

RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH!
The department was happy to lean into “South Park’s” depiction of ICE before its episode aired.
Now? Not so much.

Josh Fiallo Updated Aug. 7 2025 3:52PM EDT

The Department of Homeland Security has gone silent on South Park after the show’s latest episode brutally mocked Secretary Kristi Noem—despite previously using the show to hype its recruitment efforts.

Noem, 53, was depicted as a glammed-up ICE agent who loved posing for photos, killing puppies, using botox, and arresting anyone who appears Hispanic.
.................

...............

The department—and those associated with it, like ICE—has been equally quiet on social media regarding South Park. That is a reversal from earlier this week, when DHS seized on episode teasers as a way to promote its need to hire thousands more ICE agents.

“Wait, so we ARE relevant?” the official South Park X account replied, adding the hashtag, “#eatabagofd--s.”

"Noem, 53, was depicted as a glammed-up ICE agent who loved posing for photos, killing puppies, using botox, and arresting anyone who appears Hispanic."

Here's a shorter way to phrase that: "Noem, 53, was depicted accurately."

I was laughing myself silly every time her face slid off and a team of cosmetologists (the weighlessness must make that difficult 😉 ) rushed in to get her back together.
Full of sick, childish, humor (which at 75 I fully identify with) it will go down in South Park history.

I'm so tenderhearted that seeing her shoot even animated, comic dogs would hurt too much, given all the pain that is being borne by all critters, including us 4-leggeds. This one I'll have to pass on; of course, it'll also be the one that ends up driving them off the network under trump's executive edict.

NO killing dogs. Not even cartoon dogs. Or cats and other critters, for that matter. Not for me, anyway.

And a lot of people probably dont know she shot a puppy, or says she did.

Side note, how are republicans not in a tizzy about the show "hunting wives" on netflix? I mean, if you want an accurate depiction of republicans, there it is. I told my girlfriend i couldnt watch it because it was making me too uncomfortable.

From the stabs at charlie Kirk and other right wing hucksters to the Noem skewering, to the ever expanding Mr. Mackey "nut" -- this was spot on.

The cowards who fired Colbert now owe the makers of South Park over a billion dollars...expect more of this with every episode.

Time for them (and other satirists) to really go on the attack and not hold back.
