Trump to attend meeting of generals and admirals at Quantico

Source: Washington Post (link may be behind paywall(

President Donald Trump has decided he’s going to the last-minute global gathering of the nation’s top generals that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered last week, he said Sunday, setting the stage for a highly unusual meeting between the commander in chief and top U.S. military leaders.

Trump’s appearance at a Marine Corps base in Virginia not only overshadows Hegseth’s planned address but adds new security concerns to the massive and nearly unprecedented military event, which has required some generals and admirals to travel thousands of miles. Trump cast the discussion largely as a pep talk.

I'm a retired Army officer, I dare not comment on this further descent into dictatorship.

how much history they know.

“July 1935 German generals were called to a surprise assembly in Berlin and informed that their previous oath to the Weimar constitution was void and that they would be required to swear a personal oath to the Führer,” Hodges said in his post. “Most generals took the new oath to keep their positions.”

They have read military history.

Most of them most likely know exactly what might happen.
In fact they probably have advance warning.

US military has excellent intelligence services.

And calls us suckers and losers. Any military person should be angry and ashamed to have to appear before him. Will the orange turd declare war on liberal Americans and order the generals to attack American citizens who don’t worship the orange pedo felon?

This Epstein thing is really getting under his skin and he’s getting more deranged everyday with Miller ghost whispering him to light the fires of hate and division.

I took it long ago. So did they. I hope they take it as seriously as I did as a lowly enlisted squid.

It could also turn into his talking about how his avoiding venereal disease was just like serving in Vietnam and end up with Krasnov getting angry that they didn't give him medals.

The first thing Krasnov is going to want is to hear every general heaping praise.

Krasnov has convinced me that Kafka was an optimist.

The possible implications of all top military brass assembled in one place and Trump taking charge of the event scares the crap out of me.

When I read the news of this supposed "secret" meeting, I KNEW Trump would be there. I KNEW IT!!! He'll be there to tell them to kill Americans in the fuucking streets if they step out of line, if they protest too loud or curse too much or step over a visible or invisible barrier. He's going to tell them that he wants to see dead bodies piled up in the streets.

What. Will. The. Generaals. Do?

That is the question.

Attendees should do is arrest both the orange maniac and the drunken poser and follow the edict in place for "when the government cannot govern" and get on with ridding the world of these criminals in power. There is a plan for when we find ourselves here and it should be carried out by these top brass attendees. They have a duty to the Constitution to do so.

The Constitution is what comes first in this country, not the lowest example of a CIC in the 250th year of our history. This entire evil production has gone on far too long and must be stopped once and for all. That millions of people have lived and died here (and everything in between) can not have been for naught. If duty ever called, it's calling now.
