Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority union workers go on strike

TAUNTON, Mass. (WJAR) — Union workers for the Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority went on strike Monday morning.

According to ATU Local 1548's plan, the workers started striking at 4:30 a.m., and plan to stay out until an agreement is reached.

The picket line is outside the GATRA headquarters on 10 Oak St. in Taunton.

GATRA said it has been notified of a strike which will impact drivers, dispatchers, mechanics and other staff.
