Trump's Commerce Secretary Reveals How Jeffrey Epstein Made Money

Source: MEDIAite

Oct 1st, 2025, 5:35 pm

President Donald Trump’s Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick sat down with the New York Post’s Miranda Devine for the latest episode of her Pod Force One podcast, out Wednesday. The hour-long conversation covered a wide range of topics, including Jeffrey Epstein – who was once Lutnick’s neighbor.

Lutnick told Devine that Epstein was “gross” and added that after he and his wife left Epstein’s home on the “six to eight steps it takes to get from his house to my house, my wife and I decided that I will never be in the room with that disgusting person ever again.”

Devine then asked Lutnick how rich and powerful people around Epstein “could hang around him and not see what you saw, or did they see it and ignore it?”

Lutnick shot back, “They participated.” “That’s what his MO was, you know, get a massage, get a massage. And what happened in that massage room, I assume was on video. This guy was the greatest blackmailer ever,” Lutnick added, claiming, “Blackmail people. That’s how he had money.”

He dies controversially in prison. His partner in crime gets a sweet deal from Trump's henchmen. We don't get the full Epstein files.

COME ON!

Why isn't he pushing to release the files? His comments are too performative.

We can only conclude that he may be compromised as well. He seems very familiar with the pattern.

To be fair, he didn't seem like a terrible person before he joined trump but he's just dumb and disgusting as a trump toadie.

I think it took up most of a city block. I don't know, maybe Howard Lutnick lived on the same block? Even if they were next door to each other, it doesn't mean they had any kind of close friendship. In NYC most people don't know their neighbors and they usually aren't in the habit of inviting them over. This is something that most Americans don't relate to, but I've seen it first-hand.

On the other hand ... IF Lutnick knew anything about Epstein's "business," it probably means that Lutnick was part of it.

Is Lutnick trying to distance himself from what's
coming?

And does this mean files are coming soon?

Or something else?

The journalist doesn't bat an eye after Lutnick says the 2020 election was stolen. Makes me wonder if the story he tells about Epstein isn't far more lurid and makes me wonder if he didn't participate.

He's not calling for the files to be released, but implies he's clean and should have nothing to fear.
I'm sure he knows that Trump and a lot of other people were involved, but gives a long interview where he implies that many people were being blackmailed by Epstein. Again with an implication that Trump may be one of those Epstein blackmailed. Unless Trump was on the inside and using the information Epstein gathered for his benefit.
So, is Lutnick protecting Trump? If so, that's a strange way to do it.
Maybe the interview is a shot across Trump's bow; a warning not to cross some line.
It's all so weird.

This is all my speculation but the smell coming up from all this makes a skunk smell sweet.

that Lutnick is thinking at this point in the face of overwhelming public demand that a tactical retreat is necessary to a generic individual (Epstein alone) "blackmail" position in the hopes of heading off too much attention toward foreign power involvement.

Was this some form of intelligence gathering, blackmail and manipulation of the U.S. government by a or more than one foreign power?

The Congress should definitely call Lutnick to testify.

Thu Oct 2, 2025, 02:09 PM

There once was a mogul named Howie,
Who said Epstein was creepy and scowly.
“One visit,” he said,
“Then I fled full of dread—
That guy was just slimy and foul-y.”

A neighbor once darkened his door,
Whose secrets were rotten to core.
"One visit," he said,
"Then I fled, filled with dread—
He blackmailed the rich, nothing more."

Said Lutnick, “I saw through the act—
Just one creepy visit, that’s fact.”
But the rich played along,
While claiming no wrong—
Guess blackmail can cover a pact.

It was clear to me he is trying to paint a picture. He is trying to jump in front of something.

Perhaps he is on video as having entered the house.

His "aw shucks" stance in telling the story masks something more sinister. The people involved with Epstein traveled in the same circles as nutlick. At the very least he knew more than he has let on.

I have never seen nutlick stand up for anything honest and right. He laughs at all the chaos and destruction created by the evil grifter and his regime. He is always in the background chuckling. He wants to be part of the "in" crowd.

His representation that he "did the right thing" and shunned Epstein - call me skeptical.

Since Epstein is dead, do we know if Lutnick's wife is still living? And even if she is, could she be believed if she has been a nice little submissive wife all her life? Who promulgated this interview with the press? Did he call the press or did the press just show up at his door out of the blue and was invited in?

Basically, I don't believe anything that this administration, as a whole, has to say. This could be a story cooked up between Lutnick & djt, when both of them are guilty as that snake.
