A MAGA conspiracy theorist commissioned by the RNC to train poll watchers may not actually live in the swing state where he votes.
Jack Posobiec, a Turning Point USA host and self-appointed voter fraud watchdog, has seemingly resided in Maryland for nearly a decade. Social media posts, court filings, and FEC donation records all indicate he lives in Hanover, a suburb of Baltimore. However, voter registration documents show Posobiec, 40, has voted in Pennsylvania in every election since 2004.
The influencer is registered to vote under his parents home address in Norristown, Pennsylvania. His voting record, first obtained by Slate, shows he voted in the state via mail-in ballot in 2018, 2022, and 2024, and in-person in 2020. Turning Point USA did not immediately respond to the Daily Beasts request for comment.
Unlike Maryland, which consistently favors Democratic presidential candidates, Pennsylvania is a key swing state. President Trump won the state in 2016 and 2024, but lost in 2020.

EVERYTHING they accuse someone else of doing is a "projection" of their own guilt.

(2,344 posts)Did he also vote in the state where he lives? Is this the kind of Voter fraud he and his ilk scream about?

(161,104 posts)is to always "distract" and gum up the works of others while they carry out their own lawlessness that they accuse others of engaging in (and they are not).
It's as if they are hardwired to assume that "everyone" is operating illegally like they are so they will send people on scavenger hunts looking for "fraud" going on within the "opposition" in order to cover their own fraud.

(5,070 posts)If he filed his taxes anywhere but PA then they shoukd pinch him, charge him with both voter fraud and tax evasion. The defense for one will trap him on the other. I didnt move my taxes and voting until I was stable, but my taxes & vote were coordinated.

(161,104 posts)Here is Slate's article - MAGAs Top Voter Fraud Watchdog Votes in a Swing State. He Doesnt Live There.
And from that, this is mentioned -
Posobiec has not been charged with any violation of voting laws, but both the Pennsylvania state attorney generals office and the Montgomery County district attorneys office were previously made aware of Posobiecs possible residency in Maryland, a source with knowledge told us. A spokesperson for the county DAs office said they do not comment on active investigations. A spokesperson for Attorney General Dave Sundays office said that the office does not discuss investigations or confirm their existence, but that, generally speaking, our office has jurisdiction over the Pennsylvania Election Code.

Our AG is unfortunately an (elected) GOPer... But I know, living not far from Norristown, PA, which is the County Seat for Montgomery County (a rim county to Philly where I live), and where the County is now pretty much blue, the D.A. is a Democrat (who kicked out the previous D.A. and later 45 lawyer during the 2nd impeachment - Bruce Castor), and is in the County where our current governor Josh Shapiro grew up and still has a residence (when not in Harrisburg), and where he was also a County Commissioner and State Rep. before becoming state AG and current governor.
So there might be some follow-ups going on, although they obviously have to have every duck in a row before moving forward (and have a careful strategy) given the toxic environment we are in at the moment - particularly with TP USA).

(5,070 posts)I grew up in NJ just even with the top of Philly. I was just speculating on how a prosecution might go. I feel the issue really is did he also file taxes in PA when he was voting there.

(161,104 posts)but I would think the rest - the Secretary of State (Al Schmidt who was appointed by Shapiro) the Montco D.A. (a (D)), and even the Chair of the Montco County Commissioners (also a (D), who has election responsibilities), could try to go for something if it is determined his "primary residence" was really in MD.
I think the insinuation here is that voting in MD would not be consequential but voting in PA could be (although not necessarily in that County but at least contributing towards the total votes for the state, which is purple).
I know when I was in college in MA, I voted absentee for PA (my primary residence) and I was even in college during a Census and reported Philly as my primary residence (when completing the form that I got while in MA).
