Israel's Netanyahu says many signs that Khamenei 'is no longer'

JERUSALEM, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday that there were many signs suggesting Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei may have been killed in Israeli-U.S. strikes in Iran.

"This morning we destroyed the compound of the tyrant Khamenei," Netanyahu said in a video statement, adding that for more than 30 years Khamenei had "dispatched terrorism across the world, made his own people miserable, and worked constantly and tirelessly on a program to annihilate the state of Israel".

"There are many signs that this tyrant is no longer.

This morning we eliminated senior officials in the ayatollahs' regime, Revolutionary Guards commanders, senior figures in the nuclear programme - and we will continue. In the next few days, we will hit thousands more targets of the terror regime," Netanyahu said.

I find a vacuum unlikely as I'm willing to bet that there are plenty more willing to take the assholes place. cstanleytech 10 hrs ago #3
That's unlikely to actually change anything as there are plenty of others like that asshole. cstanleytech 10 hrs ago #2

Enter ISIS?

Iran will continue to be a theocracy.

We haven’t learned from Afghanistan.

I guess arms weren't enough. Great use of our tax dollars. War against ICE over here, and war against Iran over there.

3:00 PM, EST, Feb 28 -- CNN, MSNOW all carrying statement from Israeli government "confirming" that Iran's Supreme Leader" was killed in an airstrike. No word yet if it was US or Israeli forces that killed him.

So -- we helicopter in and snatch the leader of Venezuela and then we knock of the Supreme Leader of Iran.

Does this mean it is now open season on the leaders of every country around the world?

I bet a month's pension check that here in the good old USofA there are several people, all of them somewhat off balance with a grudge to settle, all of them own firearms, and all of them are good shots. No more missing at 120 yards with an AR15. More like three 30-caliber (or larger) rounds in a 1.5-inch circle at 500 yards.

Or what's the likelihood of somewhere in the US there are enough trained Iranians -- who came in as normal, everyday people but who are skilled in assassination, bombs, and all sorts of other exciting pursuits.

Their only goal is to slaughter every Iranian. To pretend this has anything to do with the Ayatollah is to not understand that that US and Israel goal is the subjugation of the entire ME to serve their interests.

If you think this stops at Iran you are kidding yourself. Next it will be Iraq or Syria or Egypt or Jordan .

This is about serving the interest of warmongers.
