Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton rebuked President Trump for his 2027 budget proposal and warned of negative ramifications for families in a new op-ed published in The New York Times on Thursday.
The $1.5 trillion request, which comes amid the Trump administrations strikes against Iran, suggests bolstered funding for defense spending and $73 billion in cuts to housing, health care, social services and other nondefense programs.
Clinton criticized the presidents comment during a private Easter brunch that his administration is fighting wars and cant take care of daycare. Our kids will pay the price for the presidents indifference.
Trumps former presidential challenger cited rising costs of childcare in the U.S. in her argument against the administrations proposed cuts.

(170,156 posts)as there is a general split on whether to focus on that (which is obvious( or focus on what "WE" are going to do about the damage he has done and continues to do, as the average person is probably well aware now that he is insane.
The list you give was heavily covered during the 2024 election and was dismissed by over half the population, who instead focused on "the border", "trans people", "DEI", and other nonsense (assuming none of that would impact them... until it did).
