As a social worker, my wife sometimes ran into this kind of situation. One time, one of her "charges," a Moroccan teenager who didn't think my wife was giving her enough money for doing, essentially, nothing (her job was trying to place the unemployed back into the workforce, and arrange welfare payments to them if they were really trying to land a job).
