CDC won't publish report showing covid shots cut likelihood of hospital visits
The report, which had cleared the agency's scientific-review process, had been delayed. It now won't be published at all, people familiar with the decision told The Post.

A report showing the efficacy of the covid-19 vaccine that was previously delayed by the head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has been blocked from being published in the agency's flagship scientific journal, according to three people familiar with the decision who spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of retaliation. The report showed that the vaccine reduced emergency department visits and hospitalizations among healthy adults by about half this past winter.

SCOOP: Two weeks ago, the head of the CDC delayed publication of a report showing covid vaccine cut likelihood of ER visits and hospitalizations by half. Now that report is no longer allowed to be published in CDCs flagship scientific journal. My latest. 1/2

April 22 (Reuters) - A report showing the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines has been blocked from being published in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's flagship scientific journal, a spokesperson from the Department of Health and Human Services said on Wednesday.
"Scientific reports are routinely reviewed at multiple levels to ensure they meet the highest standards before publication," said HHS spokesperson Andrew Nixon.
He added that there were concerns about the "methodological approach estimating vaccine effectiveness" and so "the manuscript was not accepted for publication," in the CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR).
MMWR is one of the agency's main vehicles for publishing public-health findings and guidance, and its reports are closely watched by doctors, researchers and state health officials.

If you take theh vaccine and hospitalization data from the earliest days of the pandemic through Dec 2025 you can draw some very interesting (positive) conclusions.
I will continue to get vaccinations as long as they are available.
They were still avaialable two weeks ago when I received my latest booster.
YMMV.
