Knicks pull off historic NBA Finals comeback to put them one win from championship
Source: NY POST SPORTS
The Knicks faced a nearly insurmountable lead at halftime.
Keyword nearly.
The Knicks stormed back in the second half with the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history to steal Game 4 at Madison Square Garden with a 107-106 win and take a 3-1 series lead over the Spurs.
New York, trailing all night and down by 27 points at halftime, took its first lead on a Jalen Brunson floater with 1:22 to go in the fourth. OG Anunoby gave the Knicks the final lead with 1.2 seconds left on a tip-in off a Brunson miss.

(6,129 posts)is about my least favorite. It wasn't "his" song and I'm not a fan of the phrasing and his voice was already not so good.
The very first time I heard the tune was by Liza Minelli in the movie of the same name. I've always prefered her version and energy from that time.
I'm so glad the Knicks were able to pull it off...amazing come back.

(9,094 posts)but I gotta say Im very happy for New York. And it was almost worth paying my bet via Zelle. It did get a snort when my housemate checked his email and saw the amount added to his checking account..

(10,791 posts)NYC hyped and spooked about the game tonight. The Topic locally. Blocks-long lines for Central Park watch party.
My wife and I were at a lovely foursome dinner at her colleagues apartment. Conversation on every topic, but no tv or updates on this game. I checked the score on my phone just before halftime, and Oh No, and dinner resumed. When we got home from dinner: 30 seconds left, Knicks are down by one point. Refresh screen: Knicks have won. Wowee!
I should have prefaced this by saying that even after a kind of regular boyhood here in the US and casually engaging in plenty of different sports, including basketball, Ive never liked watching professional basketball. Like I really never do electively.
But this was an attention-demanding series here. Lets go Knicks in 5!

(6,125 posts)I absentmindedly drove from a Friday spot back to my area, couple of short street blocks from the Garden. Boo on the NYPD not trying to keep traffic further back having blocked 29, 31 and 33rd to crosstown traffic.
