(52,831 posts)It's a capitulation, an admission of committing a major clusterfuck and realizing there is no other way to get out of it but throwing an obscene amount of taxpayer money at it.

(5,356 posts)I been eating a lot of home-made tacos lately---
the meat consisting of about half and half beef from pre-made hamburgers,
and Mexican chorizo sausage purchased from a Mexican food market
which I can walk to from home, but it is a hard walk...
(Also, they offer a good amount of fresh food I can't get from the Dollar General which I can see from my front porch:
Fresh Lettuce, tomatoes, onions and bananas which I have been purchasing there..)
Anyway, my tacos seem less good, lately..... don't know why

(13,605 posts)He learned corruption and dishonesty from his father but seems to also have a psychotic need for violence and vengeance. I remember one way Fred Trump cheated on taxes, as reported in the NYT a few years ago, was to have a fake company buy replacement equipment for the apartments he owned (washers, dryers, etc.), which he would then "sell" at a large markup to his real estate business and claim larger tax deductions than the actual cost. Trump has elevated the art of the steal far beyond Fred Trump's corrupt deals.

From the first weeks of his lunatic, criminal war, the ONLY way out was surrender and reparations.
