1. The Thing That Made Me Spit Out My Coffee

Justice Sonia Sotomayor: “The administration has the Supreme Court on speed dial.” In a 6-3 ruling, the Court allowed Trump’s team to deport eight men to South Sudan, despite threats of torture and violence. And they did it on the shadow docket. 2. Under the Radar, Not Unimportant

AI fact-checked Trump, and the results were brutal. Five major AI models were given 20 of Trump’s go-to talking points. Fifteen were flat-out false. The rest? Distorted or lacking evidence. Let’s just say: truth is not his strong suit, even machines agree. Bring this one up with family and friends this weekend. Tired of being the designated fact-checker for that friend that has gone down the rabbit hole? Just tell them: "Hey, did you hear what the machines found?"

3. Signed, Sealed, Dangerous

From gutting Medicaid to bloating the border budget, it's a Frankenstein policy that even conservative thinkers are criticizing. But it passed, because fear still rules the Republican Party.
