Trump tells Zelensky Ukraine will not regain Crimea, be NATO member

Aug. 18 (UPI) -- On the eve of a highly anticipated White House meeting on ending Russia's war in Ukraine with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and seven other European leaders, President Donald Trump on Sunday night declared that Kyiv would not be regaining Moscow-annexed Crimea, nor would it be allowed to join NATO.

Trump is to meet with the leaders Monday after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday.

In the brief though combative statement to his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said Zelensky "can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight."

Yes; this is an obsession of mine, but it should have come out a long time ago so we could have potentially been done with Trump.

Putin orchestrated everything in Alaska, he owns Krasnov. Putin ordered Krasnov what to say after the submission meeting.

Krasnov will blame Biden for the war. Krasnov will tell Zelenskky to trade occupied land for peace. When Zelenskyy refuses to surrender, Krasnov will declare that Zelenskyy is the obstacle to peace.

Krasnov will order that the US continue to not send military aid to Ukraine.

Krasnov has publicly, on the world stage, allied the United States with Russia. Watch for sanctions to be dropped on Russia and deals made by Krasnov to aid Russia's sinking economy.

The Congressional Magat party will capitulate to dear leader.

Krasnov may announce our alliance with Russia in the war, it sounded to me that's what he already did in Alaska.

Or...Taco Don may emerge at the meeting. Taco Don may sternly tell Putin he has 50 days to agree to a cease fire or he will start sending military aid to Ukraine. Translation: Hey Putin here is my guarantee that we will continue to not arm Ukraine.
