In an interview with my friend Brian Tyler Cohen, CA Gov. Gavin Newsom had some strong words for elected Dems: “Step up ... [Trump and the GOP] have been defining the terms of the debate. It’s time to get off our heels, onto our front toes.” He’s absolutely right.

Newsom closed with: “Dominate the narrative, flood the zone. And surround sound. It’s time for us to all band together.” This is the kind of swagger and confidence every Democrat should have.

CROCKETT ON THE FUTURE

Dem Rep. Jasmine Crockett hit back hard after Trump dubbed her “the future” of the Democratic Party on Friday.

Crockett agreed, saying Dems aren’t looking for “convicted felons to lead our country, but instead looking for leaders that will bring us together, have a moral compass, & fight for brighter days for ALL AMERICANS!” So true.
