How pepperoni became the topping of choice escapes me. I don't dislike it intensely, but give me sausage, mushrooms, black olives, and good cheese underneath.

Black olives, green olives, onion, …that’s all folks.

Sauce generously applied.

Diced green peppers.

Olives: black, green, or both.

Banana pepper rings.

Sausage crumbles.

Double pepperoni.

Double mozzarella cheese

Being Sicilisn I only want res sauce, Italian Sausage, and provolone. Black olives, mushrooms and green pepper is ok. Pepperoni on the other half is ok. No ham pineapple or other shit, thank ypu.

If not, green chili will work.

If tomato, peppers, onions and mushrooms with mozzarella on top. If pesto, black olives and feta cheese.

...plus extra(!) cheese.

But, I also like thin crust pesto with fresh mozzerella equally.

Thin crust, red sauce, mozzarella. That's it---no meat, no vegetables. Important lesson: When the basics are high quality, the need for additional ingredients goes away.

Good quality cheese pizza as base (Costco, Safeway or similar).

Toppings:

Cajun sausage

Okra (tender and fresh from garden, cut in rounds)

Garlic

Sweet red bell pepper

Monterey Jack cheese

Sauce, (no meat) marinara, cheese, mushrooms, peppers, onions and black olives. If no sauce, just cheese, a mix of 2 or 3 kinds, spinach mushrooms, onions, peppers, also, black olives, and a sprinkling of Italian herbs. Yum, now I'm hungry.

..."extra-thick thin crust" and it was just right for me.

Red sauce and mozzarella for basic. When we make it at home, we use turkey sweet Italian sausage.crumbled and crispy, sauteed purple onion, chopped mushrooms, and sauteed red pepper. Green peppers taste bitter to me.

I'm one of those weird folks that does like anchovies.

Everything

Sausage, ground beef, peppers, green olives, black olives, onions, anchovies, cheese, roasted tomatoes, pepperoni, maybe mushrooms if I have some with some flavor like maitakes and boulinace sauce. And I'd spread roasted garlic over the crust before everything else went on.

Of course I would never order one like this it would cost a fortune. But I'd make it.

Medium thickness on for the crust.
Extra tomato sauce .
Extra basil and oregano.
Sliced ham, mushrooms, black olives, red bell pepper and onion.
Extra cheese, and top off with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
Sprinkle on some red pepper flakes.
Devour!

is my favorite, but I'll pretty much eat anything on pizza except pineapple, black olives or anchovies.

I was visiting my dad in Chicago many years ago and he asked what I wanted for dinner and I suggested pizza and he said they had DiGornio's in the freezer! DiGornio's, in Chicago, which is world famous for its deep dish pizza! No wonder my mother left him.

P.S. We did end up ordering from Giordano's.
