And unfortunately, we tend to reflect on those things years later.
When it gets really cringey for me, I focus hard on the things I did well instead.

(15,391 posts)Like a woman I dated when I was 19 that went really bad. I now realize she may have had PTSD from some trauma...sexual assault? I could have handled it better. I think it was a soul lesson I missed/failed.

(9,898 posts)Actually, 2 guys from my teen years connected with me on Facebook and apologized for ghosting me. They felt guilty all these yrs. Actually- I wasnt that into either one of them at the time. I was always into writer/artist types of guys and they were scientists.
Anyway- they are both married and we occasionally text - remembering the good old days.
