i have a few but i like vanilla ice cream. have u ever hand made ice cream in a hand cranked ice cream maker? mmmmmmmmmm. i also liked eating a milk shake from the metal container rather than the glass when i was a kid.

Rich vanilla base, not too sweet.
He takes dried peaches or apricots, cuts them up into small bits, soaks them in brandy until all the liquid is absorbed and spreads them out on a cookie sheet and freezes them.

Then he makes that bodacious vanilla base and when it is almost finished, adds the frozen fruit and gives it a few more turns with the crank.

That stuff is killer! We gave some to some friends and their 5 year old got into it. He got very tipsy! (small skinny kid)

If he wants to make non alcoholic fruit ice cream, he cuts up the fruit and freezes it then folds it into the vanilla which makes strawberries (or whatever) and cream rather than strawberry ice cream. Beautiful white ice cream with bits of colorful fruit all through it.

Usually the green kind.... But the red peppermint type is a special treat when it is available
