Well, it never got hot enough that way, so I closed up the lid and hit "boil" and after the required 24 minutes, I hit "off". Then I couldn't get the lid off. (I am not an experienced instant potter, if you can't tell already.)
I didn't realize you weren't supposed to have the pressure valve closed with yogurt.
I realized the only way I could get the lid off was to turn the valve to release.
Boiling hot milk all over the kitchen. All over. It was horrendous.
A yogurt disaster.
Fortunately, it made my friend laugh and laugh and laugh.
