But I buy them in 5 lb bags nowadays. And for the record I love all of your posts with the fun questions.

which is good for you, to a point. But like any mineral, over-consumption can eventually result in toxicity.

I only know this because I also buy Brazil nuts in bulk, and because I eat a lot of nuts generally, was curious about their nutritional profile. The internetz, for what that's worth, warns about over-consumption due to the selenium content. So I literally ration mine as a daily treat.

I eat exactly five Brazil nuts a day and, combined with five to seven drops of iodine in coffee and water throughout the day, I have taken myself off of my stupid thyroid medication.

50 million peanuts 2 pecans 200 almonds 12 cashews 2 Filberts 4 Brazil nuts!

Waste of $$$

I just buy 1lb of cashews bulk, then I know I'm getting a cashew!

18. Roasted Peanuts

I am the most-odd-person here, as I only enjoy the roasted peanuts. Usually, I reserve the remaining (nuts) for the other nuts in this nutty family of nuts.
