I've always been of the mind that animals get along. Maybe in the wild if an animal is starving that changes, but generally I thing they get along.

(26,495 posts)when my 2 sisters and i were little . we had , ducks . cats . guinia pigs. . rabbits and dogs . when we were watching them , they woud be fighting but the minute wed walk a way and turn our heads back to look, they would be licking each other as if to say " we fooold those humans , didnt we?

(18,475 posts)but not at all outside. I worked night shift and got home around 2:00am one cold winter night. My husky was curled up on the front porch. My cat was curled up on top of my husky.😂

(1,225 posts)Mind you, I get nervous when they stick their noses up to the parrot cages (I have two African greys and two orange wing Amazons, and anyone who can crack open a walnut has the potential to take a nose right off...), but everyone has always been happy with their siblings over the years. Even Duncan (my wire fox terrier who was raised by some arsehole to chase cats) quickly learned they made good buddies.
