I quit them 37 years ago and glad I did. Luckily, I don't miss them and can't stand the smell of them. Good luck! surfered Jul 30 #1

My last one was July 18, 2006, so not far behind you.

I think we've saved a boatload of money.

Congratulations!

I quit about 30 years ago and thankfully have not missed it. Don't know how anyone affords it now - hope you can get past the temporary temptation

I smoked for 53 years. Notice that I didn't say "I quit smoking". I could start again any time. I just know that this mental desire (not physical anymore) always passes quickly.

After 20 years, especially at 75, that jolt of nicotine could be too much for your heart. Kinda like putting a supercharger on a stock engine with 100,000 miles on it without making the necessary modifications.

It's pretty rare, but it's been known to happen.

People reporting they make them happy. Many long covid sufferers saying they help.

I stopped smoking years ago by using skoal. After a few years of chewing I switched to spearmint gum and stopped chewing tobacco. It worked for me.
