(7,939 posts)There are some bad people living among us. Psychos. And I guess with the increase of population in general the percentage of psychos just become more obvious since their numbers increase too.

(16,728 posts)The story also says that the dogs jumped out, not that they were thrown out. I don't know how reliable Newsflare is, but I haven't found any sources that say the dogs were thrown out.

I'm thinking this car was hijacked, and the thief didn't want any distractions. They're probably better off. I'd be very interested in a follow up.
Good on the people who stopped for the wee ones.

This is the jaw-dropping moment three pet dogs leapt out of a moving car one after another - before drivers stepped in to save them.
Dashcam footage shows the grey hatchback stopping at an intersection in Queensland, Australia, on February 17.
As the vehicle took a sharp turn right, the dachshunds suddenly jumped out of the open window one at a time.
After the visibly confused canines fell out, they were seen looking lost in the middle of the motorway - at risk of being struck by oncoming cars.

(7,939 posts)I'm not so good at searches. Wasn't quite sure how to phrase it.
Always worry about dogs jumping out when the window is wide open. I also worry that a dog's head could be hit by a truck or something when it's sticking out of the window.

(16,728 posts)This video doesn't say that. The YouTube poster says, in the comments, that they think it was accidental. The original (Newsflare), unedited (less edited?) video description that the dogs jumped out and were returned to their owner.
