Technically it's a Rachel. A Reuben is made with corned beef, not pastrami.

I had an urge to make a Reuben a while ago but I couldn't find Russian dressing. Found one at the supermarket that had a long list of chemicals in the ingredients. I finally broke down and made my own and it came out good.

Every now & then they make a rosemary bagel, & those fly out the door. IDK why they don't make them every day.

...make something called Sally Lunn bread, which is done in an angel food tin. Smelled and tasted delicious.

What is Sally Lunn Bread?
A Sally Lunn-type bread is a sweet bread similar to a brioche or a teacake. This recipe goes back centuries, to the 1700s when it is believed to have originated in the spa town of Bath in southwest England. However, details surrounding how it came to be are a bit unknown. One theory is that this recipe got its name from the title “Soleil et lune” which is French for “sun and moon”, representing the golden crust and fluffy white interior of the bread.

The Sally Lunn Eating House in Bath, England claims the recipe was brought to the region in the late 1600s by a refugee named Solange Luyon, who became known as Sally Lunn. We aren’t sure which theory to believe, but we know this: Sally Lunn bread is scrumptious and we love it!

Toasting cinnamon bread gives off a fresh burst of cinnamon seduction. If the bread is good--even better!

Germany has the best breads! The mixed grain sourdough Bauernbrot, more rye than wheat flour, is the best. Also white bread rolls, called Brötchen (or Semmel in Bavaria) are also great with jam or honey at breakfast and with Bratwurst or what they call Leberkäse in a sandwich.

Nice, crunchy-ish crust, soft inside.
Either salted butter, or a sandwich - mayo, gatlic powder, provolone, heirloom tomato, or NJ beefsteak, lettuce.

A good, store bought pumpernickle.
Grilled cheese: butter, extra sharp cheddar, or swiss , a touch of mayo, garlic powder, a layer of thin sliced heirloom tomato,
.
Oh! How could I forget - Pretzel bread! above sandwich, or extra sharp cheddar, or mayo, garlic powder, and sliced tomato.

French baguette w butter. Or maybe EVO & garlic.
