I long for a community of creatives online...

So many creative communities are geared toward making money or making MORE money or increasing productivity in your creative life. To me, these are all pursuits of the corporate mindset and higher profits. I wish there were communities of writers, artists, creatives of all types that congregated just to learn and celebrate the joy of creation. Very difficult to find online. Anyone know of such communities?

is because of a watercolor group I discovered. It provides exactly the kind of support you talk about... except just for watercolors. (I think the moderator has others... like for sketching or mixed media... not sure.)

Anyway, I know this isn't really what you're looking for, but thought I'd throw it out there. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1182099838663903

I've followed this app for almost 25+ years ven if I couldn't use it when it was originally Fractal Design. I saw it at the digital phography section of a larger film photography big exhibition.

I've got the Affinity 2 suite, but I like having others to tinker with. I've got Procreate, but this one looks more user friendly and it's cheap! I just bought the full version.

My sister has done that in rural republican U.S.A., taking after our parents who were the nucleus of art communities wherever they went.

Community colleges might be another place to begin your quest.

In-person is always better than online.

No time to start another group. I just want to hang out with other creative people. A much needed break from politics!
