Just bought a couple of shirts....women's XL....hate to say, but why are the damn sleeves sooooooooooo long???

Just cause I’m a tad larger then last year, still stand about 5ft 3.5 inches…….why are the sleeves made to fit some who has 5 feet arms?!?!?!?! Hate rolling the cuffs back.

My problem is that I’m 5’6” and most shirts are too short unless I buy something down to my knees which I don’t want, either.

The problem is that they really don’t have tall departments for women in very many places. Petite departments everywhere. Tall departments, not so much.

I live in a city with a mid-major university, so I know these girls are not swimming in NIL money, yet I see them around and they are well, if not expensively, dressed. I'm guessing Macy's or Kohl's or someplace similar. I could be wrong, but.... They alsoi have big feet, BTW.

I'm smaller than you (usually a S to M) but I agree about the sleeve lengths. They're ridiculous. If the shirts are tailored, what you can do is turn the cuffs up and rebutton them that way. I do that a lot, especially if I buy men's shirts at the thrift shop (I like work shirts). Otherwise take them to an alterations shop.
