Taylor Swift ~110.7 billion streams
Drake ~109 billion streams
Bad Bunny ~100 billion streams
The Weeknd ~85 billion streams
Justin Bieber ~68 billion streams
Ed Sheeran ~63 billion streams
Ariana Grande ~61 billion streams
Eminem ~58 billion streams
BTS ~55 billion streams (widely cited; some variation sources)
Post Malone ~54 billion streams (widely cited; some variation sources)
And remember Taylor has been a huge star since before Spotify was even a thing. Drake's first album was 2010. The Weeknd's was 2012.
Bad Bunny's first album was xmas-eve, 2018.
If you average for 'years active' Bad Bunny is the #1 artist on Spotify by a considerable margin.

(34,976 posts)When I find the time I am going to do that. Old hippy here, I never cared much for rap until I actually took the time to listen. It is still not my favorite but there is really good stuff in there if you listen. This sounds interesting, can't wait to find some time (guests now).
I can remember my dad when I would listen to music, the Beatles...those years. He did not live long enough to change his mind but I think that was an impossibility anyway.

(1,764 posts)Has over 15B Spotify plays across its 23 songs. Pretty decent place to start.
Helps a lot if you habla Espanol though
The fact that his songs are in Spanish is, I'm sure, a large part of the maga freakout.

I haven't bothered watching a Super Bowl halftime in at least 20 years. No point in changing my habits at this point.
