A piece of music the title of which I have hunted for years, turns out to be called: "Years". Listen...

In 2014, Facebook began offering a do-it-yourself video compilation, called 'A Look Back', of the pics users had posted to their Facebook pages. Once you clicked 'Proceed' (or whatever booted your new video), it would play a slideshow of your life at it appears on Facebook. (Say what you what about the social media site and its charmless doucherag of a founder; I will probably agree with you) I was entranced by this short piece of music accompanying the video. It was bright, heartwarming, serene, and hopeful in a way I can scarcely imagine these days.

I jokingly called my own 'A Look Back' video the trailer to my biopic. But I wanted to know more about that arresting snippet of soothing music. I looked around the net for years, and finally found it. "Years", by a composer named Keith Kenniff. This is the extended version. I hope you enjoy it, and find it as comforting as I have.

Now I know another good reason why I’ll never have a FB page.

Sounds like the wonder of a child seeing the first deep snowfall of the year....full of youthful optimism.... as though someone orchestrated "joy".
