The highest peeve (mine) yet low key commercial of the holidays.

Actually, for the past 3 or 4 years that Roku stick/YouTube is my absolute only media outlet, having cut satellite and pundits' mouthing off a decade ago, am able to escape various seasonal crazinesses. The YouTube universe has commercials but with the option of "Skip"-ping on a countdown basis (the "free"? version, have no idea about subscription type).

But despite this, the *one* commercial that seeped through (still susceptible to Skipping) to the top irritating spot: Something about sort of high end leather folders, billfolds, planners and such. Seems that there was only one version and I never let it play out, but it immediately irritated: The supposedly calming, luxury mood music, hands modeling a leather product or another, a cup of coffee, a leisurely pace of all the time in the world. Just couldn't click it away soon enough. It's still going on, the whole season.

... before I finally got my star. Wish I could tell you which one but I've loaded several about ten years ago or more and the heck if I can remember which they are.

I do like that notebook, I use mole skin but they are so stiff I break them down keeping them in my back pocket and I have to mend them with duck tape before I fill them up. I have a collection I still use for reference and they look like they've been through the war.

As for adware, I shout from the highest hill that I'm really really low tech and don't mess with anything! At my old age I have no use for things, am getting rid of stuff, use a one-dollar booklet calendar for (just about only doctor's appointments) from the dollar store, about the only time I go there once a year to get the booklet! Yeah, don't use the phone for calendar or other things!

And producer of television ads, I like this commercial

What’s wrong with having nice materials with which to write and reflect?

"Prince" Phillip said, "There's no accounting for taste." Fun fact, I'm anti-royal.
