My temper is flaring.

I've written ad nauseum about my terrible neighbors.

Years ago, they erected a piece of shit trampoline in their yard, right next to our chain link fence.

There's always a fucking problem over there, and the cops and/or CPS are over there at least once a month.

They don't do jack shit as far as home maintenance, and now the snow is piled so high on the trampoline that TARP IS SAGGING TO THE GROUND the springs are fucking flying off, one by one, and FIRMLY EMBEDDING THEMSELVES INTO SEVERAL INCHES OF THICK, HARD ICE IN OUR YARD.

My wife is trying to keep me out of this, and she is handling it herself. She knows that I'm confrontational, so she is calmly speaking to the woman in the relationship over there herself. I've had several run-ins with them over the years, and my wife is insisting that I don't get involved in this.

I'm reading on the internet that those springs can embed several inches into a human body if they release and hit you. This is a large trampoline...probably 14 feet in diameter.

I guess I'm just going to call the non-emergency police number if that shit isn't taken care of by tonight?

I'm not kidding...the way those things are embedded into the ice, they'll fucking kill you dead if they hit you.

They'll kill my dog if he gets hit by one...

Won’t insure your property if you’ve got a trampoline. I know, because we had one when the kids were in middle school. Those springs always worried me.

In our area you're more likely to find your neighbor's trampoline from down the street, in your yard from wind.

Go out & get pics with a tape measure or something to indicate size/scale.

4. I have a neighbor like that too. I paid to have some large trees removed. We were told that we could remove the other

trees but we had to pay for it. House is now abondoned and is a shelter for animals and rats. I call the borough and they just come and put a note of the door. It is very frustrating to have neighbors like that.

5. Their dogs shit in our side yard...

My wife politely takes a shovel and moves the dog shit over a few feet so it is in their yard.

I, however, take the shovel and heave it onto their roof, into their driveway, and onto their cars. I've had enough of digging dogshit out of the treads in my boots.

Fucking assholes.

9. At the time I paid to have the trees removed from their yard. Now I have to have permission to get the remaining trees

that are sagging into our yard, cut down. I don't see how I can do as they abandoned that jungle of a yard and rat filled house.

I have so many stories...and the town doesn't do anything about it. They don't enforce the town code. Between us and the neighbors behind them, they have probably logged over 20 complaints to the town over the years.

Nothing is ever done about it.

Y’all have that crap. Such a way to have to live and I would be just as raged. I live in red hell but have a nice buffer zone around me. Just going to Wally’s I see what could be with those superior whites and get raged just seeing those and the numbers of them.
This is Cawthorn Meadows country here.
Wish you good luck with it all.

7. The Trumpers who rent the house next door have a trampoline.

It’s a smaller one, and isn’t in the yard now. It’s not nearly as annoying as the dogs they let out at 5:30 AM to frolic and bark, or when the jackass decides to “roll coal” with his big ass pickup.

Lord, I wish they’d move. I’m surprised they’d rent from the nice old Vietnamese couple who own the house (and 2 or 3 Chinese restaurants in the area).

It's so goddamn frustrating.

I've actually considering selling the house, but I've put my heart and soul into remodeling it, and it would break my heart to do so.

They'll never move...the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, except for them, and no one in the neighborhood will speak to them because they are pissed off too.

It's what we've done to survive among the raving lunatics here in Caddo Parish.

I honestly wonder how some of my mouth breathing, knuckle draggin' neighbors ever learned to wipe their own ass.

Document everything you're able to document contemporaneously.
Keep a contemporaneous diary regarding the same.
Meticulously document your contacts with law enforcement.

Potentially Property Standards might be quite helpful regarding some of the issues that you've mentioned.

All my best to you and yours.

May reason once again rule in your world!

Maybe the springs that are left will hold, or fly in another direction, less dangerous to living creatures. Recycle the ones you found, there will be fewer to worry about. Eventually, the trampoline will collapse into an eyesore.

Is your dog doing okay?

I feel your angst.

Mine bought their son a bow and arrow (the type you actually hunt with) and they started shooting the deer I've been taking care of for more than a decade. The worst part is they didn't kill them, they maimed them.

I've exhausted all my legal resources and even thought this only began after their son started target shooting on the back couple of acres I can't prove it's him. 😭
