I prefer them to be alive so I can plant them. However, we now live in an apartment and I don't have anywhere to plant such a thing, except outside in the rotunda. (Which they might let me do.)
Thanks honey sweetie!

(28,983 posts)My husband usually cannot get me flowers because our cats like to eat them. We used to be able to put a vase on top of a couple of the kitchen cupboards that do not go all the way to the ceiling, but not anymore because our 3 yr old male Siamese can jump up there with ease, and frequently does. I think he likes to survey his kingdom from on high.
His athletic ability limits us to 2 tall bookcases in our family room. So far, we have never found him up there.

Our male tabby loves spinach, arugula, brussels sprouts leaves, and cauliflower. The cauliflower has to be cooked. He doesn't seem to know he's an obligate carnivore.
