Last evening felt so comfortable. As i was not thinking of the turmoil of these times.

Old man dyslexic bad punctuation ramble warning.

Last night i was just noodling around on the fretboard playing Simply Red Holding back the years using chord embellishments.
To try and explain chord embellishments. Using Triads or hammer ons adding double stops think if Curtis Mayfield or Hendrix or Stevie Ray covered this song.
Anyway my boy twenty one sat down in dining room with me grabbed his strat plugged in and we explored the fretboard together.
It was a nice time taking a moment just to get away from this shit.
Me listening to him tell me about his day attending local university or twenty one asking me about my day i told him of a nice kid i meant at a customer. She made my day as she was so pleasant to deal with.
As she asked me if i could spot the trailer an empty i was dragging. As there jockey was not in and they were running behind i said no problem.
She then told me some union guys are not as pleasant or cooperative. I said some of us union truckers live in a trash can on Sesame street.
Yet it was a nice evening together with my son well for about two hours. Then twenty one had to go online for an evening remote class. Dunc the golden chonk attended online university as well laying on the bed and for a bit squeaking a toy.

What a sweet reminder of the value of simple things. Time with your boy, your dog, your guitar. These are the moments to treasure.

Again, thanks for writing this. I love your homegrown style.
