Good morning my DU family,

"Everything happened so fast."

How often have we said these words or something similar in our own lives?

Ultimately followed by "I wish I had...."

Things still haven't fully hit me yet, I've been split between doing what needed doing, being there for Toby and feeling the devastating loss that Cuddles sudden passing has wrought.

It's so amazing how much time we have when we slow ourselves down. I've spent these last 96 or so hours in a hazy or altered state it seems, as everything seems to be happening at half speed or I should say I'm getting so much done in such a little time window.
I'm embarrassed to say that I think it's the difference between being alert in living versus
sleepwalking through routine.

For someone who spent most of his life running from his feelings, it is refreshing to know that when needed, I have time for all of them and it's way better than running from them.

Please give us a day filled with opportunities to live, to be awake in our moments, to breathe and feel and think in real time, not racing through it as if it was a task to finish.

I'm still learning how to do that.

Have an intimately inspiring day DU.
Love, John
