genuine Jasperware, it seems as if there were would be a photo included of the mark or stamp indicating that.

but that sideways shit? how stupid do you have to be to believe wedgwood would put out something like that?

Wedgwood mentioned anywhere. I'd assume they are not.

I'd guess these items are not.

so, i went to the school of the art institute. i was a clay major.
took a history of ceramics class. they had a different lecturer for each class.

one week it was a curator from the museum.
i got to embarrass that person TWICE.
1st was that they had no idea why ppl used 'paste china'. or rly, what it was. i gave her a little lesson in clay bodies and the economics of cone 6 v cone 10.

but the rly stupid thing was that she brought drawings from wedgwood.
one was a teapot. it had a line drawn to indicate the angle of the spout. she was so impressed at the aesthetics of that decision.
me- um, that's to make sure it pours properly.

but companies other than Wedgwood made Jasperware items. If you start reporting people selling cheap crap on ebay you'll be occupied 24 hours a day. LOL. I bet this guy's best customers are Trump supporters. Tacky, tacky, tacky. Edited to add: I looked at the photos more closely and the sterling silver doesn't look like sterling silver either. Probably a bogus 925 mark and nice story of their origin.
