i play in a community band that started out as a gay band but over the years has morphed into a rather well regarded wind ensemble but still with a focus in that dreaded DIE. We started playing some of her compositions when we focused on lesser known composers and wanted to include female composers. She was quite accomplished and I’ve loved all of the compositions we’ve played so far.
