4 Non Blondes - What's Up

?si=0ffL6yrNz7cmzJOM

"It's the way the song makes certain people feel. In Europe where they're not speaking English, they know every broken-English word, and that song makes them feel something. I knew right when we played it, the song made the whole room feel this thing. It's a connection to humanity. Certain simple songs, that's what they do. There's an honesty there that breaks through that people can relate to..."

It's a Giannini Craviola. Made in Brazil.
My model is a slightly different in that it has regular right angle tuning pegs instead of the roller type on her guitar.
But, it's the same in every other way.
It was my first acoustic guitar. Bought it in '76.

Played over 2,000 gigs in my life.
Now, I've got a piano, a 6 instrument keyboard rig, 14 guitars, a bass, a mandolin, a violin, an electronic drum kit, 4 amplifiers and a small sound system. Plus a 16 track recording system & about 15 microphones. All but one instrument was paid for with money I made playing in clubs.
Everything I have, except for 2 amps & the sound system are on display in our rec room.
Obviously, my wife doesn't get to decorate in that room. I left her no wall space!

If you're interested in hearing some stuff I recorded, here's a link:

I am in awe of musical talent. I have none. Entirely tone deaf, sadly. Maybe in my next life...

But can still appreciate music in all its wondrous genres and eras.

I probably should have mentioned that I'm playing & singing everything on those linked songs.
Just an itch I needed to scratch.
