She Gimme Lovin' - The Sweet

Are you a fan of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, etc.?

Please allow me to submit for your consideration the most underrated band to ever come out of England...The Sweet!

You may have discounted them when you heard their earlier "bubblegum" hits like "Little Willy" (especially for us Americans), or later AOR-radio hits like "The Ballroom Blitz" or "Fox on the Run," but unless you know the deep cuts, I guarantee you've never heard them like THIS!

This song feels like Sweet F.A.somewhat.
I loved these guys for a long time.
Give Us A Wink was a terrific album, but I have Desolation Boulevard in my Top 10 albums of all time.
There were 10 songs on that album. Every one of them could have been a hit single.
The 2 songs that were hits (Fox On The Run & Ballroom Blitz) are IMO, the 10th & 7th best songs on the album.
We were supposed to see them on the tour they canceled because Connolly got his throat damaged in a bar fight. We were bummed! As good a singer as Steve Priest was, I think they could have toured as a 3 piece (which they actually did several years later.)
They should have been bigger, but they got pushed as "bubble gum" for too long. Very underappreciated.
