Back during the first tour with Hagar, we went to see Van Halen.
The opening act was BTO. A bit of an odd pairing, but whatever.
They were fine, but on this song, Randy played a very extended solo.
All I could think was "No offense Randy, but nobody here came to hear YOU play guitar."
After all, we were waiting for Eddie.
